To extinguish your Everlasting Candles, simply blow out the flame. We do not recommend using a candle snuffer, as it may affect the finish and performance of the candlestick over time.

Once extinguished, your Everlasting Candles can be relit again and again using Pristine Oil®.

We recommend using matches to light your Everlasting Candles, as holding a lighter too close to the candlestick may cause darkening on the sides over time.

Over time, the tops or sides of your Everlasting Candles may darken slightly from heat, drafts, or natural carbon build up. This is completely normal and can usually be refreshed in just a few moments.

If the tops of your candles are black or difficult to light, gently rub the top of the candlestick with a dry paper towel to remove some of the carbon build up. This helps the Pristine Oil® absorb into the wick again for easier lighting.

For deeper cleaning, you may gently wipe the sides with a soft damp cloth if needed, taking care to keep the wick dry.

Before refilling your vase, ensure your Everlasting Candles have been extinguished and fully cooled. Simply pour additional Pristine Oil® into the vase, maintaining at least three inches of oil for the best candlelight experience.

For easier pouring and a cleaner refill experience, we recommend using our Black Steel Funnel.

Everlasting Candles are designed and recommended for indoor use, where they can provide the best candlelight experience away from wind and outdoor elements.

While some customers choose to use them outdoors in sheltered areas, performance cannot be guaranteed in windy conditions. For those wanting to try them outside, we recommend using our Hurricane Vase for additional protection.
