The Neva Everlasting candle sets are beautiful. I purchased sets with both the black and silver rods. After a few uses, the silver turned black on top, looking like soot. After trying to clean them according to the instructions on the website, they were still discoloured. I reached out to Customer Service and they were very prompt in replying. They recommended to use a cleaning product (Bar Keepers?) which I do not use. If the “soot” on the ends of the rods is something that would bother you, I suggest buying the black rods as I assume the discolouration wouldn’t be noticeable.

I am enjoying my purchase and love that I can light my steel candles and have no smoke or odor and so easy to blow out the flame The only complaint is the vase which I do love but felt it was a little thin I would like to have a thicker and heavier glass for stability. Bought 3 in the last year as gifts. So beautiful. Plan to buy one for myself at some point. The only thing I don’t like is the lack of instructions in the box. Additionally, I ordered two this year as separate gifts and they arrived in one package. I had to separate the parts and put them in gift bags. Such beautiful packaging, so it was a shame I had to open them rather than just wrapping the boxes.
